Elon Musk reportedly respects the decision made by every Twitter user. Musk stated in a tweet on Tuesday that he leave his position as Twitter’s CEO once a suitable replacement was identified. On Sunday, Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, ran a poll asking people if he should leave his position as CEO. More than 57% of respondents to Elon’s survey supported Musk’s resignation.

Musk tweeted Tuesday, “I will resign as CEO as soon as I find someone so foolish.” More than 17.5 million people participated in Musk’s poll. At the end of June, there were about 238 million daily active users on Twitter.
