Which satellites launched by ISRO’s PSLV C-54

  • Primary payload: EOS-06 (aka OceanSat-3) (1117 kg) satellite.
  • Secondary payloads: Eight nano satellites – Thybolt, Astrocast(4), INS-2B and Anand.

EOS-06 (aka OceanSat-3)

EOS-06 is known as Oceansat-3. EOS-6 is the Oceansat series’ third-generation satellite.EOS-06 is provides data to observe ocean colour data, sea surface temperature and wind vector data to use in oceanography, climatic and meteorological applications.

The satellite also supports value added products such as potential fishing zone using chlorophyll, SST and wind speed, and land based geophysical parameters.

India-Bhutan SAT (INS-2B)

India-Bhutan SAT (INS-2B) is a collaborative mission between India and Bhutan, the INS-2B satellite with two payloads for Bhutan.

NanoMX is a multispectral optical imaging payload. It is jointly developed by DITT-Bhutan, URSC, Space Applications Center (SAC) and APRS-Digipitor.
