ISRO INDIA Chandrayaan-3 took off from Sriharikota (India) at 2:35 pm on Firday 14 July 2023.To witness this historic moment, thousands of people from all over country celebrated the victory of science amid chants of Bharat Mata Ki Jai.
In the 17th minute of launching, it seprated from the rocket and reached the fixed orbit at an altitude of 180 km. Now it will move towards the orbit of the Moon.
Objectives of Chandrayaan-3
- Study of Minerals,Soil and Stone on Lunar.
- Demonstration of safe and soft landing on the lunar surface.
- Display of rover moving on the moon.
- Conducting on-site scientific experiments.

Only Lander and Rover will be sent with Chandrayaan-3 and soft landing of the lander will be done at the same southern point of the moon where the lander of Chandrayaan-2 landed.
